Troubleshooting Pinterest Links That Will Not Download
Work through the most common link, privacy, browser, and availability problems in a few minutes.

Check the link first
Open the URL in a private browser window. If the Pin is deleted, private, age-restricted, or visible only after signing in, a downloader may not be able to reach the media. Copy the link again from the Pin’s Share menu and remove any accidental spaces.
Short pin.it links normally redirect to a full Pin URL, but temporary redirect problems can occur. Opening the short link once and copying the final address may help.
Check the browser and connection
Refresh SavePinter, disable aggressive script blockers for the page, and try again. If your network filters Pinterest, switch to a connection where the public Pin opens normally. A browser update can also resolve failed downloads or blocked file prompts.
On phones, check the browser’s download permission and available storage. The file may have completed but landed in the browser’s Downloads folder rather than the photo gallery.
Know when media is unavailable
Some Pins contain no downloadable video even when the preview looks animated, and creators can remove or replace media. If SavePinter finds only a cover image, that may be the only public asset available on the page. Try another public Pin to confirm that the service itself is working.
